Logged Issues: Will they all be corrected?
First, I just wanted to say up front that I enjoy this game and probably the best version ever. However, I had a question because maybe I don't understand the 'logged issue' section of the Technical forum.
If I'm correct, the 'Logged' area is supposed to be a place to track all issues that have come up with the game and have been somewhat confirmed as actual issues. When they are corrected, they are moved to the 'fixed' area. At this time, there are roughly 185 threads open in the 'logged' area which suggest there might be 185 open issues with the game. That seems pretty high to me, although I certainly understand that some of the issues might not be big, but none the less have been indicated as issues (not working as intended). Is there any hope or realistic reason to believe all these issues are going to be solved by the time all the patches have been released? I'm sure I know the answer, but thought I would ask anyway since it would be great to have a completely clean game. For me personally, I would rather see all the identified issues (regardless of how big or small) be corrected before new features are introduced. If new features are introduced, then so is the potential those new features will also have issues and things will just compound. Again, by no means trying to be negative, just trying to understand policy of correcting issues and what else might be done with this version before all the patching stops. |

I have a feeling that the bugs that don't get fixed are ones they just can't squash. I have no computer savy but I know it must be really hard to recreate them. I hate it that the game keeps changing my line ups. I agree forget the new features and fix what you can.

Yep, I'm with you. I'm really hoping the next patch, assuming there is a next patch, takes a huge chunk out of the open issues list. Although I'm sure it will never get to zero, I'm still holding off a little in starting my career until 'the final' patch is delivered so I can go with the most corrected (I know some would say that is crazy).

Some of the threads in the Logged Issues forum are ones that definitely won't be fixed, per Markus. That includes items that weren't really bugs to begin with. I've made notes in each thread as applicable. I've only been closing the ones out that were fixed.
The ones that were noted as something to address later may or may not be addressed in this version. The ones without notes are ones that they haven't reviewed yet. We're adding new reports on a daily basis. |

Logged - Confirmed Issue, Trying to Fix for Current Version (still a chance it won't be) Logged - Confirmed Issue, For Sure Won't be corrected Until Next Version Logged - Not An Issue After All and Closed Certainly doesn't have to be exact, but at least it lets me determine if any of the issues I was 'holding out' to be fixed before I got serious with the game would be indeed fixed this year. |

![]() There's no master plan detailing when a bug will be fixed. Markus and Andreas go through things and either fix them right away, push them aside to fix at some indeterminate time later, or state that they won't fix them. Depending upon how quickly they can figure out a solution and depending upon how important a fix might become for the userbase, a bug will be fixed sooner or later. Furthermore, I'm reluctant to close out any threads that were marked as ones that won't be fixed, as there are sometimes misunderstandings and some convincing can later get them addressed. Unless an issue is actually causing you trouble, I wouldn't worry too much about all of the little logged reports out there.

Your probably right Nutlaw, I should just dive in and enjoy it
Not really any particular issue that I'm waiting for, except the ones I submitted and are still open They aren't that big either. I guess I'm overthinking it largely because I'm more concerned what other players have already discovered that I haven't yet and that someday after investing a lot of time, I'll hit one of those issues and it might be something that bothers me too much to continue.Yeah, probably spending too much time thinking what could happen versus just enjoying the game

Anyway, all one can do is keep trying to solve the problem himself. That may seem daunting but I learned the hard way. I have no formal training on software or hardware repair but just dove in and learned that way. Sure, I made a lot of errors but I also learned computers. It's like driving a car and not knowing at least the basics of how the engine works. With at least a working knowledge, you may be able to fix something while broke down along a back road somewhere in the middle of the night. Know what I mean. So, no, there will never be a perfect bug free any kind of program for everyone. Just can't be with so many different setups being used by each individual.
