BZ 1796: Attendance Info Screen

I've done a rudimentary look through a couple of pages here and in the bugs threads and I didn't see this mentioned, so if it has, my apologies.

What info does the "Change from (previous season)" percentage use? I imagine it would just be the percent up or down in attendance from the previous season. Is it based on per game totals or season totals? Also, I'm looking over my historical replay of the Indians and I had been noticing the percentages not looking right. Then in 1997 I check the Pirates attendance, because they dropped from 2,384,663 the previous year to only 980,921. The change from 1996 was listed as +.6%. Is this a bug?

Gibson swings, and a fly ball to deep right field! This is gonna be a home run! Unbelievable! A home run for Gibson! And the Dodgers have won the game, 5 to 4; I don't believe what I just saw! I don't believe what I just saw!

Here is one. The Cubs dropped in attendance from 1,232,541 to 930,361 but it says that the change from the previous year was +2.0.

How do you get that change figure? I've tried to find it, simmed a few years of a historical league, fictional league and there's no Change from field on my advanced financial screen.

Ah, I've been looking at the end of the year. It appears mid-season, but as you say it makes no sense.

Yes, George W. Bush would call that "fuzzy math".

Has this been addressed for the final patch? If not, you may as well take the number out as it doesn't mean anything when it's wrong.

Not as of yet. We'll start posting in the appropriate threads as bugs are claimed fixed.
