I've been running a massive deficit for my team because of some free agent signings. Will I ever have to "pay the piper" or can I run this deficit every year? I'm always told I'm over my budget but if I want to give my players extensions I always get the money. This seems to give me a huge advantage over the computer. Is there any drawback to running my team at a loss?

you must be running in commish mode, so no there is no drawback, you hold the jobs of team GM and league/World commish so you have a huge advantage. To get out of this situation you would want to uncheck the commish button, and check the not be fired one, since if you are way over budget you will most likely be fired at the end of the season.

Wow, talk about your good new/bad news situation.

Well, maybe if I win the championship I can save my job.

Maybe I double ticket prices mid-season…

No, I've won the championship, been 16 mill in the red and was fired...

Correct you will no-longer be able to force trades, I like to set up another profile just to be commish and take care of these things, or you can just click on the commish when you "need" to force a trade.

OMG, I'm was over 30 million in the red last time I checked and that was before I gave a contract extension to my best player.

No wonder I'm running away with my league. Hilarious.
