Fictional League Schedule
Hopefully, I can get some help for this.
I have been attempting to create a fictional league simulate 20 years then begin my career. My problem is the game seems incapable of automatically creating a schedule on the season start date. The first year it creates one from my birthday which is in September. Then in following years it will not make any schedule on its own. I want to be able to simulate all 20 years at once without having to babysit the simulation. I believe I have everything setup right in the schedule and league setup area. I'm sure I'm missing something since there are way too many different menus but I have searched extensively for something that indicates to me that the schedule will be created automatically each season. I'm on my 4th league now trying to get this to work and I am a bit frustrated so any help is appreciated.

First, though this isn't technically an answer, you might try a post in the MODs forum. There is a place where you can request specific schedules.
Second, what is the start date of the season and how many games? Are you saying that after the first year, a schedule does not get recreated? Did you change of the start of the season in the options menu? Note: that can only be done in the offseason

I am setting the start date for the for April 1 but forcing it to always start the season on a Monday. I have made all my changes for league prior to initiating the start of the league. Yes, after the first season no schedule at all is being generated. I'm in the process now of setting up a league using advanced mode instead of the wizard. So this is not a known issue? Thanks for your input.

Sounds like you are changing something that is not allowing the first season to end, therefore it never creates the 2nd season schedule, because the first one hasn't ended yet.
Reminds me of a problem I had when I was trying to create leagues years after already playing, before Markus put that ability in the game.

Can I ask what your specific league structure is? Schedules are generated based on the structure of the league (for example, how many subleagues, how many teams, and how many games in your schedule, interleague play or no).
I'm wondering if there is something peculiar in your league setup that is causing a problem here. Obviously, this SHOULDN'T be happening. The game should be generating your schedule. |

My setup has been two leagues with two divisions with 6 teams each in a division. I am going with 162 game balanced schedule. Funny thing was in one of the leagues the minor leagues kept simming.
What I have figured out is that it must related to using the wizard. I have now been able to setup a league in advanced mode and the simming is moving along fine with the schedule being made each season. Thanks for responses.
