Drafted Less Than A Year Ago

Is there anyway to get rid of this when trying to trade players?

If you're not familiar with it - I am encountering a problem in which when I try to trade for players, drafted in their first year, or even a good amount of players after the first year of the inagural draft, where I cant trade for X player because apparently they were drafted less than a year ago.

How do I get rid of this?

Download 9.1.2 and go into Game Setup.

Dumb question. What is the realistic setting for this to mirror MLB? Does MLB prevent trading of 1st year players?

Yes. But it doesn't work properly (at least it didn't seem to) in the MLB Quickstart.

Great, thanks for the info. Playing this game also provides great insight into the rules of baseball I never knew about

Thanks, but it is still allowing me to do it. Is it one full calender year or the end of the season the draft is held?

Markus stated that it was after players got one full season of pro service after the recent draft.
