Crap! I was going to download it on my dial up tonight...For some stupid reason I was thinking that the download was only 32 MB. My bad - that would be too small for that many players. Guess I'll have to download it at work on Monday.

Otherwise....well....you've seen the commercial

Hey Dodger - are these photos already in bitmap form? Just wondering.

Thanks for all of your hard work!

Dodger. I dloaded the pack and I believe you can shave about 20mb off the file size by deleting the thumbs.db file from it. It is not needed in the zip.

I have pulled the thumbs.db out of your set and it is uploading now.

I also converted the set to jpg and added it separately for our dial-up friends. That version is only 5.5 MB. BatchThumbs 1.5 is available for fast conversion to bmp format as well.

Your roster set, both versions of the facepack & BatchThumbs are listed in the Directory. Link is in my sig.

Thanks for all your hard work in putting this together and for sharing with all of us.

I wondered why it was in .bmp format to begin with. A huge waste of bandwidth when .jpg can be converted very easily with Irfanview or any number of image programs. Still fine work by all involved.

Thank you, adventureran!

Kudos to Dodgerbaseball & all who have been involved with him on this project. It seems to have turned out very cool!

One question I am wondering about - and please don't take this as complaining - some of my photos are looking slightly hazy, quality-wise. I have converted them to .bmp form and they still look this way. Did I do something wrong? It's not a problem, I just wanted a 2nd opinion...kind of like Jeter.

Thanks again for all the hard work!

I noticed this as well. Some also appeared rather dark. I just thought it was my old, failing eyes, though.

LOL!! Well, it's nice to know that I'm not seeing things that aren't really there.

...either that or it's nice to know that my eyes are gettin worse, too.

I downloaded the smaller jpg version and I was very disappointed in the quality of the images. Most were very blurry. I figured that perhaps they did not translate well going from BMP to JPG.

I figured I would download the huge BMP file today, but I noticed it is no longer on Adventurean's page.

For those who downloaded the huge BMP file, did you find the picture quality to be poor?

I compared several after they were converted and they looked nearly identical to their originals. But I will do a side-by-side of a greater number right now post the results here.
