Right now it looks like my only sure bets for the tourney are Baer, McGovern and Austin. Shows how close all our matches have been. Graziano took a huge tumble this week.

Week 8 starts off with a nail-biter. Only a few major and split decisions make the difference.

I take it you're not too confident in W. McCullough making it to the show even after he climbed all the way up to 10th in the rankings.

Yeah, and Delayne keeps on going. He could very well be the cornerstone of the team for a long time.

Well my team must be showing signs of improvement, as this time I scored in the 40's, and the last time I faced Ice I took a record setting beating.

Congratulations Mark

Record setting at that time, but almost all your records have been broken by the Binks last week (sigh). Way to go, Greg! I'd love to get in the 40s again (points or age-wise).

Opps!! My bad.

I was thinking of Coventry. At least both teams start with a "C".

sucks to have more individual wins yet losing on the final point tally.
Still its a good showing against the league leaders, just not good enough on this occasion.

Trying to interject a little political humor, now you know how Al Gore felt! Your guys really did great, but it is tough to lose on the points end.

I just realized that, last week, the Haymakers had more wins than the Binks had points. Argh!

Thanks Jeremy. The win comes as a surprise to me. Thought it would be another close one like last time. Never expected to put up 50+ points. I was already planning my strategy for an early draft pick but with my teams sudden scoring binge the last two weeks, it looks like the early pick idea is out the door.

The division lead is nice but I don't think my sqaud is ready for the playoffs. If by chance we make it that far.......I'll be looking for an early exit.
