BZ 1699: Can't stop auto-play
When I try to auto-play to the opening day, the auto-play is really slow and I can't stop it because when I click the button, OOTP goes opaque while it's loading the next day and then continue simming on the next day a few seconds later. Sometimes the button will turn red when I highlight but if I click it, nothing happens because it's already loading the next day. I tried clicking it several times and it goes into the opaque not responding mode until it's done with the current day.
I'm running OOTP9 on 64-bit Vista with 4 gigs of ram and over 40 gigs of HD space available. UPDATE: Well, right after I posted this, I got it to stop auto-playing after clicking the button like 20 thousand times but it simmed another couple days before it actually stopped. I can't figure out why the button doesn't want to work when I push it and why I have to continually click it until the game stops responding for a few seconds or it decides to finally stop auto-playing. Is there anyway to speed up the pause after all the games sim? It takes only a second for all the games to sim in a day but then it takes 10-20 seconds for it to switch to the next day. I already disabled the box scores and game logs off. Last edited by NavyNuke; 07-06-2008 at 01:40 PM. |

This has been marked as something to address at a later time.
