BZ 1691: Game crashes on "Review My Roster"

Ah, so you've actually got a game created? This is slightly different to the OP's problem. I'm going to split this out and put your problem in a different thread.

I am also having the same problem also. When I go into managers home and click review roster, the screen freezes and I get an error message window saying ootp9exe has encountered a problem and will now close.
I also received the same message earlier today when I was saving the league and going to close the program. It reached 95% saved and the error message came up.
I am playing a league with the MLB rosters that came with the game.
I'm using XP with 1GB ram and 160GIG HD.
Please help!

I have found neither the cause nor the solution for this specific error; however I did find a temporary workaround: uninstall/delete OOTP9 folder and files/reinstall. Until a patch is prepared, losing all leagues and settings appears to be the only option. I have not made it past August of the first season in any of my leagues yet.

I have uploaded 3 zipped sets of league .dat files: New Game 14.lg; New Game 16C.lg; and New Game 17.lg.
They all contain error/crashes that I have not been able to identify or fix (perhaps diff than the original posted here).
New Game 14.lg: Error c0000005 after simulating months. Can't open without crashing: Windows DEP was off.
New Game 16C.lg: error with options.dat - could not start this league, but could create new league that crashed.
New Game 17.lg: new game started after error with 16 - during creation a c0000094 error occurred, crashing the software.

This issue has been claimed fixed for the upcoming patch. If after installing it you still experience this problem, please post a link to this thread in Tech Support along with an explanation of what happened so that we can re-open the report. Thanks!
