Saved Game Disappearing
I played half way through my first season and saved my game. When I came back to my PC (XP Pro) I saw I was at the log in screen meaning my computer had crashed. I later went back into OOTP to load my save and I had a 0-0 record.

Did you have a 0-0 record halfway through the season or had everything reverted to the start of the season?

First off, I apologize for the double posting of this thread.
Everything reverted to the beginning of the season. |

The problem you will have is that the text files for players and teams will have been updated. If you go into the news directory then the text directory and then players and look at a random player_nnn.txt you will see events from the season.
This is how the game runs, so if a league crashes between saves, the database will revert to the last save, but the text files won't. This has been logged as a suggestion to have the text files recreated from the database, but that's not there for v9.

The second thread has been deleted, so no worries there.

No, any crashes during a save will tend to destroy the saved game. Did you create any backups at any point?
