"Could not load world file" - Mac user
I'm another Mac user that has experienced the "Could not load world file" error message. I can start a new league but they always eventually crash. Clearly there is a problem when writing data to database files - they work for awhile but eventually get corrupted.
Attached are the screenshots of the crash messages: |

Could you please FTP us a copy of your .dat files from one of your damaged leagues and let us know what you've named it per the following instructions:

Can't FTP
I can connect, and I can see the contents of the "saved_game" folder, but I can't upload my zipped files. I get a message that the "saved_games" folder can't be modified. I tried two browsers, Transmit, and directly from the Mac Finder. Any ideas?

I had this happen to me the first time I tried to import a file, but can't reproduce this again - even with the same CBL_2008 file.

Markus - Started another league
I started another league and for some reason it seems that .27 did not like my .26 files. The new league has not crashed yet and I'm about to start my second season. The only issue I'm having now is that no players ever appear on waivers, and the free agent list is full of top players, like A-Rod, and it appears that no teams are bidding for their services.
The game is great fun and I rooting for you guys to keep plugging away to make it rock solid. Let me know if you still want me to send my .26 data files via email (17MB). Thanks! |
