Yet, another Mac crash

1. What, specifically, were you doing when the problem occurred? Include the specific screen you were on when the problem occurred.

Created/set up my fictional MLB league with OOTP9, and hit the start game button.

2. What happened? Was there an error message? If so, what was the specific message?

Game started to save database, and froze while doing it. (Please see the screen shot below)

3. Were you able to repeat the error with this same game? With another game? If so, what steps did you take?

?

4. If relevant, what do you think the program should have done?

Start the game?

5. What is your league configuration (fictional/historical, etc.)

Fictional with the MLB set up. 30 teams, w/3 levels of minors.

6. Are you a Mac or PC user?

MacBook Pro w/Leopard

You know...this happened to me when I tried importing CBL's 2008 rosters. I thought it was because it just didn't like importing the rosters...but then I tried it again and it worked. I didn't think it was a big deal...(again...mac).

Okay, so when you tried to create this new game, you had already had another game loaded, yes? That game appears to have crashed while saving. It was crashing when saving even without trying to create a new game in-between?

No, Nutlaw,

I do not think I had another game loaded when I created this new league.
I never do that.

1. I created the new fictional league as soon as I opened the game application.
2. I saved it as a template before I start the game.
3. I hit the start, and the game fzoze, as it is shown in a previous post above.

No, actually.

After a couple of days, I tried to set up a league on THE template I saved, and it worked.
I am in 5th year of the league now without crashes.

I guess I should ask you to close this particular thread.
