New Game Setup Help Needed

Hello all - I have created a new 2008 MLB league, released all players and had game run full automatic draft. Everything went well but my problem is that when I go to view a roster of any team there are no players listed. Have I done something wrong.

Thanks

Is it possible that:
A) All teams are human controlled, and therefore,
B) All players are still in DFA and waiting to be assigned to various rosters?

To doublecheck, go into league settings, set all teams to computer control, run the let computer set all rosters.

I went in and did what you asked. I'm not sure if I did anything else but eventually I was able to go into each team one-at-a-time and have ai setup entire organization. Is there an automatic way of doing this?

Things are good now - thanks for the guidance.

In the same screen where you set the teams to AI control, you can run the AI manager on all clubs. Unfortunately, it does so for yours as well.

Hey all,

I haven't actually bought the game yet but I have one sticking point left. It seems that I have to license the game online in order to activate it after installing it. Is it absolutely necessary to have an internet connection in order to activate the game on a fresh install?

For instance, in my wildest dreams, I'm trapped on a desert island and all I have are a brand new computer and a copy of OOTP 9. Will I be able to play the game?

Just curious.
