Lower league personnel contracts

I noticed that most of the hitting and pitching coaches and the managers of the minor leagues have contracts that expired the year before and are worth zero. Is it even worthwhile signing my guys to extensions until the end of the year?

That sounds like you have something wrong. If the contracts expired, they shouldn't be on your team anymore. Or did I misunderstand what you said?
