Thumbs up Anyone want to do a duel 2002 Indians career?

I've been reading the dynasty reports that Ardent Enthusiast and TrueCardinals are playing with the Expos and I'm wondering if anyone wants to do the same with the 2002 Cleveland Indians using the updated Rolen's roster? It would be interesting to see how two (or more) GM's compete using the Indians to see can create the best dynasty... we would use the same house rules and have the league set up equally. if interested reply to this post OR send me an e-mail at robert.roth@wgint.com

thanks

I'd like to see this happen as well! Good luck! Although, I must admit, TrueCard and I did this without knowing the other was at the same time. Actually, quite a few people it seems have started Expo dynasties, but few complete them, at least in the forum.

Thumbs up

Hey guys!! Let's get this going ASAP. I think we should use Rolen's roster w/ grismosw's update. I've simmed the 2002 season 3 times using grismosw's update to Rolen's rosters and they seem accurate. When I play my solo leagues I just try to play w/out cheating the AI and that's pretty much my only house rule. I feel the game is good enough w/out creating "your own" rules. Saying that what do you guys think some house rules should be? This is what I was thinking from the top of my head (please add to the list if you want):

1 Only even trades (player initiated) 1 for 1, 2 for 2, ect. You can accept any computer offers.
2 I use traditional rating.
3 Can not trade a FA player in his first year.
4 5 rounds for Ammey draft

Other than that I think we could have a pretty competitive leagues. How fast do you guys want to do our sims? I'm game for any suggestions. I started a league for my solo league and I'll probably use it for my duel career. You all can take a look at it if you want. I just finished my first season. http://www.geocities.com/ootp4indians/home.html

As soon as you guys get back to me we can get this duel careers going. Should be fun...

If you want to e-mail you can at robert.roth@wgint.com

THANKS!!
