Just FYI, a brief interview with, uh, ME, on XM's pre-game show will be airing tonight before the games on channels 181, 182, and 188!
10:05, 10:10, and 9:40 are the EST start times! We'll be getting a copy of the interview to post on the site, but for now, you gotta catch it right away!

Isn't that the obscure sattelite communications outlet? The one that the only time I ever see them is when their CEO is testifying before some congressional committee about the future of the internet, the music business, etc., etc.?
Still, that's COOL battists, and must be pretty exciting for you!

XM has replaced the radio in my truck and my wifes car. Baseball games and talk 24/7/365. Roadtrips are great because we both have a wide range of stations that are approved by both of us. As well as the settings that allow us to know when certain artists are playing so we can listen to them. The money is well spent IMO.
Especially on Sunday Night Baseball when I can turn off the sound of Joe Morgan and listen to the radio feed. Battists who are you going to be on with???

XM radio is the most popular satellite radio broadcaster in the US, with almost twice as many listeners as their closest competition, Sirius.
As of October 2007, they were averaging more than 10 million listeners per week. |

I know a lot of people with XM. I had it myself for two years before I got my video/mp3 player and stopped listening to it.
I loved it for the ball games, sports channels and the comedy stations. Never got much into the music, though.

I have XM in my car, on my stereo via satellite dish, and on any computer I happen to be on. It's great.

Well, we missed it already, but it was with Mike Ferril on the pre-game show. Basically, it went on all of the channels prior to tonight's games. ![]() Like I said, tho', I'll post a copy of it here once they get it to me! |

Very cool! I picked up an XM unit for my car a couple years ago...terrestrial radio consists of about a whopping 8 stations up here in Edmonton, 5 or 6 of which are absolute crap.

The MLB morning show with The Big Chair and Buck Martinez is the highlight of drivetime every morning. And The Show with Dibble and Kennedy on the drive home make this one of life's favorite things to own.

Well, it's both of them together, now.

That's like cancelling cable television because they add Spike TV. Why would you punish yourself by doing something like that?
