Well I wasnīt hoping for minor leaguers but for major leaguers.
The base roster in quickstarts doesnīt have it, like what pitches the hurlers are using. I have a thread trying to get some to complement MLB.com version of hitcharts. |

Oh I'm all about that, sorry I misunderstood what you meant.
If you have a place where I can get the info I'd be glad to throw it in there! |

Okay guys, I'm sure there is a ton of problems still because I'm not going to have time to check it over, but I'll be uploading the completed work so far so you guys can peruse and give some thoughts.
All I've done really is edit AAA so if there was any other problems I haven't fixed them. Okay I lied, it'll be up tomorrow morning.

This sounds awesome, thanks Cubby, RSF and everyone else. I think the fixed AAA version of Erich's set might be enough to get me started on a 2008 League...

I'm terrible with deadlines. Putting injuries in and then uploading. I'll make a new thread for release.

Nope. This is a great page for injuries, but it's current and I can't find if they keep an archive...

You can use the attached as a reference and then look each IR guy up manually using a site like Fantasy Football, Baseball and Basketball - news, projections, rankings, draft guide - Rotoworld.com to review their news history to ascertain the nature and DL length of the injury.

Perfect-o!
Keep in mind these are still pretty rough because AA needs a TON of work. But MLB/AAA is looking pretty good. We probably need to eventually tweak MLB ratings though as some guys are just a bit off (Marmol, etc... some are spot on however). |

Some micro management like Tim Wakefield with a knuckler and whoever still throws this pitch.
I donīt like to read announcers telling me Wakefield throw a +90p mph fastball, but great movement on knucklers that is sooo hard to hit. The pull hitters is to be found (some at least) in my asking thread for pull hitters. Hopefully folks add on.... Have you got some idea of how players are rated according to BAD behaviour. Thinking about Milton Bradley storming the TV announcers and still behaving badly... Like too see those bad guys acting bad. I donīt know if itīs work ethic or what, but it would be fun to mess a little with the best known suspended players. Iīm sure it can be found whoīs constantly gets into trouble. |

If anyone can help and is interested in a certain league, please let me know. |

I got to know this....
This new roster you are building CubbyFan. Is it the roster that came with the latest (and only) patch with OOTP9. You then put your "fingers" to players rating that hasnīt played in the majors before 2008. Making contract, moving players to correct minor league level, making correction on positions and fix rating at that spot... Am I correct in these assumptions ?? |

Russell Branyan really needs to be fixed. Even if he played every day, he doesn't have *that* much power.
He regularly leads the NL in HRs in seasons I sim. Never going to happen. Alex Rodriguez is probably underrated, as well -- he's one of the best power hitters in the game, playing in a park that hurts his power, and his HR power is second-tier. He should probably be rated more around 42 HRs per 550 (his rate since 1998), maybe 43-45 (as he's been even more of a HR hitter in recent seasons, excepting the two huge slumping seasons in 2004 and 2006) |

Re-rating MLB'ers now, hang in there and they should look a LOT better in a few days.
Although I do have a man-crush on Branyan so I can say he'll probably hit 35 over a full season with new ratings still. Working to get scouting reports (pitches/pitch speeds) in on MLBers too, does anyone know of any good websites for this information besides FOXSports and Sportsnet.ca? As for Branyan, 35 HRs per 550 ABs is about where he should be. His walks should be lower, too. Keeping everything the same but rating his power 118/169 and his Eye 106/137 seems to make his projected stats look more accurate to me. |

Try FanGraphs. Each player page will have breakdowns on all of the pitches each person throws, the frequency they are thrown and the speed.
