Question REtiring Players

I've run into a couple of glitches with retiring players.
1. With the game set-up set to retire players historically, players whoe would have retired at the end of the season, are retiring in the middle of the saeon instead of the end of the season. I've had several up and retire in the middle of the play-offs.
2. I have had several fictional plaers retire in the middle of the season. In one case, the player was going for the Triple Crown, which he eventually won. This particular player retired twice. Both times occured when minor leagues finished their season and free agents and retirees were generated.
3. I've had several historical player who were scheduled to retire at the end of the season who didin't..alghouth their player profiles showed that they were retired. The players remained on the active roster even after the change in calendar years. In these cases, I simply remove them by dragging their names to the bottom right of the Tranascation Screen.

While not a major problem for human run teams, I haven't been able to track AI teams. With human teams, I've simply opened the player profile, unretired the player and placed him back on the team with which he had been playing. I have had to insert all salary information as well.

This occured with both the original version and the "patch." It actually has happened more often since I installed the new version of the game. Just thought you should know.

Just to verify, these players actually retired and didn't just announce their upcoming retirements?
