You know, one of the cardinal sins is to make the 1st or last out at third. I wish there was some way the game let you decide to send a runner to third or home on base hits. I don't know how many times I've had a runner thrown out at 3rd for the last out of the inning...

I doubt you will see this added.
this has been discussed quite a bit and markus has stated that he doesn't like the idea because a real manager does not have that ability to make that call in game - it is a combination of the base coach and the runner. I do believe the thought is you can influence your base coaches by setting the runner aggressiveness slider in game strategy.
