Can't Import OOTP2007 files

Every time I try to import any of my OOTP 2007 games, the program freezes. I haven't been successful yet in importing any old games. I am using a Dell Latitude D830 and use Windows XP.

Any help?

Yeah. Try making a copy of your .lg folder with only the .dat files in it, then import that folder into OOTP 9. Once you are done, manually copy over the other sub-folders. It will go much faster.

Please let us know if that works for you.

Gives me an error:

Database: Load database--could not load names file

Do i need to move over more than just world.dat?
