Minor League Level Questions

I started a MLB quick start league, but deleted the many minor leagues associated with quick start, and then added simple MLBAAA, MLBAA, MLBA minor leagues before the season started to simplify the minors system through the game setup system.

Unfortunately, my team now thinks AA is the highest level of the minors, AAA is the 2nd highest, and Single A, (correctly) is the lowest level of the minors. This pattern is different for every team. (Ex. My most developed prospects and veteran players not on the majors roster are now in AA, and it asks me if I want to demote a player if I try to move him to AAA.) Some have A as their highest level.

Is this a bug? or am I missing something?
