Modern 08 League: MLB Dreams looking for owners
The MLB Dreams league is looking for new GMs to complete our league. We are just starting the 2012 season. We have a very active forum, and a strong core of owners. This is an OOTP 2007/8 league.
Full League Name (Initials): MLB Dreams (MLBD) Main URL: Welcome to Major League Baseball Dreams Reports URL: Major League Baseball Dreams Home Boards URL: MLB Dreams :: Index Commissioner(s) OOTP Forum Username(s): cnield OOTP Version: '07/8 Game Needed: Required Players: Modern (real current) # of Teams: 30 Export Deadlines Days And Times: T/R/Sat, around 6PM Pacific League Time Per Sim: 7 day sims First Season: 2006 Latest Season: 2012 Currently Available Teams: Baltimore, Anaheim, Toronto, White Sox Ratings used: 1-100 Coaches: No Scouts: No One cool thing about our league is that several of our GMs have blogs where they write about their teams. Washington Nationals: Pledge Your Allegiance Arizona Diamondbacks: http://www.snakepit.higginator.com/ Seattle Mariners: MLBD’s Mariner Moose Musings We also broadcast a game of the week using web-conferencing software, and allow the managers of the GotW teams to manage their teams live. It's very exciting! Current Openings: Boston Red Sox (2011: 107-55, 1st place, WORLD CHAMPIONS) A dedicated and ruthless GM led this team to three straight World Series, and two straight wins. The team has never won less than 99 games. Good team for now and in the future. Los Angeles Angels (2011: 92-70, 2nd place, 2011 AL Wild Card) A perennial playoff team that was retooled by the previous owner. Strong pitching and good batters have kept the team winning at least 88 games in every season played in MLB Dreams. Chicago White Sox (2011: 92-71, 1st place after runoff) Johan Santana led this team to their first playoff berth last season, and things are looking good for the future. Strong team looking for an owner. Houston Astros (2011: 81-81, 4st place) Had the rookie of the year in 2011, as well as David Wright and Daisuke Matsuzaka. Decent team needs an owner. Please note that new GMs will have their trades reviewed for one season to make sure nothing super lopsided happens. All of these teams really need someone to come in and provide steady leadership to rebuild the teams. If you think you would be interested, contact me by PM on here or on AIM (mlbdnationals).
