Financial Problems

I run an online league and I have done some reading about the financial bugs that are in OOTP 8. The majority of the teams in my online league have now gone negative in cash. Most teams are not able to sign FA and I have no idea how this could happen. but people are getting test. I know a team not in the red at all who lost several high priced players to FA and then proceeded to go in the red cash wise. Has anyone seen this before and if so how should I fix it.

In my league (solo), I control the league financials by tweaking the media contracts.

To summarize (my setup is a bit unique so this explanation is a little over-simplified), when I first started my league I totaled all the salaries in the league and then made sure that the total revenue's were at least 3% higher than that. If they weren't, I increased the team's media contracts.
