Team Merging

I got this idea on a form where people were creating fake teams by combining the best players from two. Would there be an easy way to merge teams in OOTP?

Easy? No. Possible? Sure. Go into commissioner's mode, create the new team, and then manually put each of the top players onto the new team. Delete the two "feeder" teams, and release their remaining players into the free agent pool. Of course, this would leave you with an uneven number of teams, so unless you had a custom schedule, you'd have to create a new team.
