Cosmetic OOTP6 issues after switching computers
I was able to unlicense the old computer and install the license on the new one without issue. But once I loaded it up on the new one, there were some irritating cosmetic issues with the game. I've tested it out and it appears as though the function of the game has not been lost, but I'd like to restore the previous appearance if at all possible.
Here are some screenshots of several of the issues. http://img294.imageshack.us/img294/76/untitled1vt6.jpg http://img359.imageshack.us/img359/909/untitled2hx6.jpg http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/6...titled3oz5.jpg http://img149.imageshack.us/img149/4...titled4th2.jpg http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/368/untitled5ue7.jpg - The backgrounds for several of the menus and boxes are no longer there. This makes it difficult to see the menu options - On the player pages, each of the rating meters is filled to the top, even if the player has no range at a position or less than 100 of most other categories. - While managing a game, the live coverage text on the top left part of the screen (screenshot #4) does not get deleted before the next input comes, so we have several lines of text printed over each other. I believe the lineup part on the left side (the one that says 'Titans Lineup' on the left side), also should temporarily disappear when the text is being printed. Once again, there is usually a dark blue background making the white text easy to read, but that is also missing For the record, I am using windows XP with plenty of space on this CPU. My old computer which ran OOTP without these issues also used XP. Let me know if there's any more information you would need. Thanks in advance. |

Go to your setup and disable direct3d.
That solved it for me. |
