Saving a game

Let's say I'm playing a game..Padres vs Giants. I suddenly have to leave in the top of the 5th. Is there any way to save this game? Or do I have to "Quick Play" from that spot?

There is no way to save in the middle of a game you are actually playing out AFAIK. You either have to leave the OOTP window open or quicksim through.
