Drafted Players Released Instantly

A search yields a few of these cases but no solution (I don't think).

We have an online league that, every season, has a handful of (human-controlled) teams who release draft picks as soon as they make them. The game releases them automatically. I have no idea why. Our lowest minors level has no roster limit.

Huh. Which version of the game are you using, please?

Are you certain that the owners in question haven't selected the option to allow the AI to control their minor leagues or other roster moves?

I'll ask the owners about the AI control. Really doubt that's the case, though.

Are all of their draft picks released, or just some of them? Is there any pattern to it at all? How many players were in their lowest level of minors when the draft occurred?
