Draft Pick Compensation for lost FA's
Do most of you guys use this rule or no? I think it would help keep a league competitive..

Nope, it's poorly implemented IMO.

I would use it if it worked right. As far as I know, the first 15 teams don't give up their picks and they haven't implemented sandwich picks to make up for it yet. Besides that, the way the game handles the the Free Agent grades was kinda wacky.

I use it sometimes, but it is not nearly as robust or complex as what happens in MLB. I've started playing with the ability to trade picks and I'm liking that more with out compensation. |

This is a feature that I was so excited to see included in the game.
I do use it. I think the general consensus though is that it is poorly implemented at this time. I expect changes will be made to the system (really all we need here is a sandwich round) in the next few versions and this will become a valuable part of the game! |

Even though it is poorly implemented in that it gives NO compensation for guys who have been signed by teams in the top half, that doesn't prevent me from playing with it on. Just because it is somewhat faulty does not mean that it is completely useless and I like the fact that I can sometimes get a first rounder for a guy I let walk. It's semi-suspenseful to see who he gets signed by.
