Crash when trading

I have played about 7 or 8 seasons with no problems. Now when I hit the "complete a trade" button it crashes. Anybody have any sugestions??

I hope I can salvage my franchise

ootp 08 with the latest patch. I am also on Vista.

Are you running a fictional league or a historical league or the MLB quickstart?

I beleive it was the quickstart. It was the league (MLB 2007 players?). That came with the game.

Are you always trying to trade the same players? Did you try simming ahead a day or two and trying to make your trade again?
