The no-hitter that wasn't
I'm pretty new to OOTP... OOTP5 is my first game and I just bought it a few weeks ago - loving it. Replaying the 1989 season - back when the Orioles were exciting.
I posted a week or two ago about the news for my league reporting that Chuck Cary of the Yanks threw a no-hitter on Opening Day. It went on to talk about how Don Mattingly had a great day and the Yanks won by a large margin. Except when you look at the box score for the game, the Yanks actually LOST, and Chuck Cary had a horrible performance.
I wanted to attach his player report, which shows the conflicts, but I couldn't get it to work. I'd be happy to send anyone who's interested the reports or anything else from my league that might shed some light on why this happened.
This is the only player I've seen this happen on. Also, interestingly enough, he's touted as a great pitcher yet he's managed to go 1-7 so far this year.
Does anyone have any ideas what's going on here?
Thanks!
