Error Loading Historical Database
I have done an OS reload of my system and I decided to copy over the complete OOTP folder in My Documents. When I reinstalled the game and tried copied over the game data over the My Documents folder created, i get errors saying it cannot load the historical database. When i check the info I can see that it is saying it cannot find a file called help_22000021.tbl. I can verify that the file is indeed in my OOTP Baseball data folder in ....\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 8\data\help\templates. What can i do to repair the situation, if at all possible, and get the old saves running on the new install?

What is giving you that error message? OOTP or windows?
Try copying just your saved games (your .lg folders) to a temporary location. Uninstall the game, wipe out any folders in your documents folder related to the game. Reinstall. When that's finished, place your .lg folders back in the saved_games directory.
