Which team would you be most interested reading about?

I usually hate when people post things like this "Pick my team for my league/dynasty?", so of course I'm going to do the same now

Really though, I am already doing a historical league, I have 2 fantasy baseball drafts coming up this week, the NCAA's and War have me glued to the TV not to mention opening day right around the corner. So while I do want to do this league, the fact of the matter is I won't have a ton of time to play games daily, so updates might be spaced out and not frequent, since I plan to go into great detail. Therefore, I want to take a team that people will be interested in reading about, so incase I can only update it once a week or so, I will still have people following along. I also wanted to take a team that I haven't seen anyone else use or talk much about for that matter. I have come up with a list and below is a little background on why I chose them as nominees.

Arizona - Greatest 1-2 pitching combo in history? How long will Johnson and Shilling last? Can their arms lead the D-backs to another title before they retire?

Chicago (A) - With the addition of Colon, the White Sox have a credible 1-2 punch with tons of young talented arms in the wings. A great lineup supports this team, but is it good enough to challenge the Twins? Will they ever reach their full potential?

Cleveland - The days of dominating the AL Central and sellouts are over for the Indians. But what remains is quite possibly the best collection of young players in baseball. How will they all develop? Will they all become studs, flops, or mediocre players?

Marlins - A team constantly talked about being sold and losing money remarkably remains competetive every year. Talk about young talented arms and you can't look any further, and add future H.O.F. Pudge Rodriguez to an already solid lineup, could be a sleeper for NL East

Dodgers - The team that always overspends and gets the least for their buck. Kind of at a crossroads, good enough to contend but realistically not good enough to win. Is it time to dump payroll and rebuild, or do they make 1 last shot at the Pennant?

Brewers - Team in shambles, torn apart by lack of money. Basically 2 stars to build around in Sheets and Sexton and a group of role players. Can this small market team ever become competitive or are they destined for mediocrity for ever?

Cardinals - So close every year, yet can't seem to get to the World Series. LaRussa puts a great team on the field year after year, but they always seem to come up 1 player short. Was Scott Rolen that player? Do they need another pitcher? Or are they destined to be a Bridesmaid forever?

Blue Jays - Playing in Toronto is never easy, right off the bat your dealing with less income than the teams in the US. The Blue Jays, unlike the Expos, seem to have overcome this and dumped salary while adding talented young players. Maybe not a playoff team, YET! But moving in the right direction

So please vote/leave a message, etc. I will be starting up this league towards the end of the week right around opening day.

Thanks

Go with the Jays. Josh Phelps is a budding superstar

Red Sox. They play at Fenway Park - oh, and they haven't won the WS since 1918. It would be good to see if they had any more luck in your league!

16 votes in, Toronto and Arizona tied with 4 votes apiece...I'll leave this up today and select the winner tomorrow since I think I will have some time to start the league tomorrow night

Boston Red Sox...

Exciting players in Pedro and Nomar and Co... A long history....unfortunately tainted with the curse ....and lots not forget the Fenway Park...

I love all the teams that have been around forever and haven't won a WS in a LONG LONG time...I choose the BoSox...because Pedro is great to follow...the chase of the Yankees..and I for one would love to see them win....

I'd like to see you do something with Florida. Of course having Beckett could make that easier

Woody your not helping dude j/k 1 vote for the Marlins. Unless a big surge for another team though, it looks like its either the DBacks or Jays. Hopefully a tiebreaking vote comes in soon.

LOL sure...but that still only gives the Red Sox 4, and Toronto and Arizona have 5 still

Ok guys, I'm bored at work, and I have some ideas for some posts for the franchise, so I wanna get things started. So, I'm gonna flip a coin, Heads Arizona, Tails Toronto...hold on....flipped, under the desk, lemme check...Heads it is, Arizona Diamondbacks are the winner. Thanks to all those who voted and responded. I think if you guys enjoy the DBacks one, the next one I will do is a Red Sox one as that seemed to get some steam down the stretch.

Cool...I like great pitching so it should be fun to see how Randy and Curt's careers wind down...and where the D'back go from there...
