Someone Please Help

I am starting to get angry with this so could someone please give me some suggestions.

Everytime that I start a career, in the 2007 season, my game starts to crash. I have lost 4 manager careers now because of this so it's getting a little frustrating. It now crashes monthly in game and everytime it happens, it wipes out my AVE leaderboards!!

Any have this problem or a sollution?

I am running WinXP, PIII 1 gig, loads of ram and a GForce2 card. I have all updated drivers and am running DX9

Someone please help, I would like to play a career!!

Are you using a particular roster set or are you using all fictional players?

I believe he is saying that in every career he starts it crashes in 2007. If not with a custom league you can set the start date to just about any year you want.

Are you doing anything in particular in 2007 and exactly when is it crashing (proceeding to next season, during free agency, spring training, etc.)

I've never seen this happen. What are some of your settings? Have you tried different league set up (like number of divisions) etc? It is happening when the season "flips" or after you hit draft or sign free agents etc..?

I hav used 4 different roster types. Historical, custom made, fictional and rolen.

I am not doing anything different in the 2007 season that I think would cause this... I do it the same way as I do any other time in any season.

Yes i started in 2003 and went to 2007 simming...

I thought about that but then when I looked there were loads.

I tried redoing the schedule since it seems to crash at the same point, or close to it. I also noticed that my players are only getting credit for 115 games in crashed seasons and the leader board shows the right amount.
Odd...

Nope wasn't the schedule at all. I was hoping that it could have been but nope.

I would really liek to have this fixed so if anyone could please help me out I would appreciate it.

I have no clue, because I have simmed 50-100 seasons into the future w/o issue, maybe you should try reinstalling the game and see if that helps.

tried that before also... I tried installing 4 times. I also defragged 3 times since this game was installed and am running out of answers.

eral shot in the dark here...

but my game gives me troubles when I have anti-virus software running. Have you tried turning everything else off in the background?

That was something i thought of too but I don't have an anti virus installed so I am guessing that isn't it either... I seriously doubt that XP has one built in

Well I can tell you this if you dont have an antivirus installed you may want to. This problem COULD be a virus related problem. But without any virus program to check your computer for infection, it is hard to say what is wrong here.

There are a few things that we need to know. Has there been any changes to the databases after the 2006 season? Did you modify something ? Schedule, player, teams, etc. Did you move teams to new cities, or expand or retract teams?

The more information we have about your problem in 2007 the more we can help.

What happened in offseason for 2006 going into 2007? Did you make any changes in scheduling midseason etc?

no changes made. I do have an antivirus but i install it every so often. I don't have a virus, it gets checked all the time. It's a long story as to why I don't have it installed but I do have it and run the check every week.

I didn't make any changes, nothing done in the offseason at all. Nothing different than before other than what the game does. I have tried with Sound on and off. I am going to try turning off the Direct 3D although it would make me even more angry to not be able to use all the functions.

I don't have this problem in the 2003-2006 season but as soon as I hit the 2007 season and beyond, there are problems.

I am not sure what info i can give other than whart I ahve already... if anyone thinks of anything, please let me know..

Have you tried using just the default rosters that come with the game in the default league?

I didn't use the default rosters but I did use the fictional rosters. I just chose fictional.
