League Leaders fail with long-term sim

I attempted to sim 50 years overnight, and when I woke up I discovered OOTP had crashed. When I restarted the program and loaded the league, it was in 2008 or 2009 (tried twice) and the league leaders were corrupted. No one shows up for average or OPS, only 1 player in each league for HRs, and the remainder are normal.

I am running WinXP with Athalon 2k2, 512 MB of RAM.

Sorry to hear about the problem, I know that this is not the norm as I simmed overnight a number of times w/o a problem. Just curious, did you have a any other programs running in the background or have the computer set to "power down" or a screen saver come on during this time?

No, nothing else was running. I can send you the league if you'd like to take a look at it yourself.

Not really anything that can be done to it, I don't think.

I've experienced exactly the same problem. Are you saying a screen saver could cause the program to crash? I'm just using the standard Windows XP Pro one - not very complex.

Yes, if the game is open and a screensaver is activated then chances are you will have problems with the game. I would recommend, either closing the game if you are gonna be away for awhile or turn off the screensaver.
