OOTP2007 Crash Error During Amateur Draft

Hi, I was near the end of the amateur draft for the 1971 season in a historical league that is in its second year. I got this message:

ootp2007.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience

Any ideas out there? Thanks!

After toying with the problem it appears that simply by changing the draft rounds from five to four fixed it. Either there was something wrong with one of the player picks or something I still can't figure out. There were enough players left for round five to work. The good news is that we're back up and running.
