Rule 5 Rights Removal?
Is there any way to remove the "Must be on Active Roster or 15-Day DL for entire season" status from a player drafted in the Rule 5?
Say for example if someone trades money to the team they drafted him from, to buy "full rights", so that he may be demoted?

In OOTP? No.
In MLB? I dunno, maybe. I mean, I guess you could work out a deal wherein the player's original team agrees to refuse to claim him when he is demoted. I'm not sure if money can be attached. I ... suppose that the player could be returned to the original team and then traded back to the team that drafted him in exchange for money. |

Other than disabling the Rule 5 draft altogether, or simply handling the issue in Commish mode with the player editor, I can't think of a work-around. |

I figured that in OOTP it wasn't possible.
Thanks guys.
