Editing Lineups Freezing

Ok well my OOTPB 8 keeps freezing when I hit Roster, Transactions, Pitchers, or Lineups and its a pain I've tried to fix it for 8 hours and im getting really mad cause i just got the game like 3 days ago and now it doesnt even work.

Which version of the game are you using? If you aren't on version 8.0.0.13, please use the following patch and see if you continue to have trouble:

Which operating system are you using? How much RAM does your computer have and how much free hard drive space?

What type of league are you running when seeing these freeze-up problems? Real life players? Fictional ones?

XP 2 prof. serrvice pack 2 992mb or RAM 31.8 free GB on HD

regular MLB team real players

well i created a fictional league and when run that 1 i cant do any of those things but this time a error message came up and termainted the program

Can you expand upon this a little bit, please? When you say that you "can't do any of those things" you mean that you can't crash the game as in the MLB league?

Do you have any other programs running while you are playing OOTP? If so, can you try closing them all to see if that reduces your problems?
