Triple A team not playing

So I have been playing a MLB season as the Chicago Cubs and have demoted some players, but have noticed that the Iowa Cubs (AAA) have played ZERO games, whereas other teams in the league have played about 40 ....my record as Iowa is 0-0, with the #1 team something like 28-17. What is happening? how do i fix this? they didnt have a manager and I assinged the batting coach but dont know what else to do ? Their schedule is completely empty! HELP!

I had the same problem...3rd season in...I got promoted to managing the Iowa Cubs...played zero games...rest of league was continuing as normal

in the off season, (or preseason or spring training) re-do the schedule for your minor leagues, it sounds like the people that made the rosters added some minor league teams then forgot to re-do the schedule.

ok...started up a new game in another organization...as a workaround...same problem...this time as omaha...tried to generate shedule resulted in an error and wiped the entire schedule clean...chose different leagues...no problem...very annoying...this app is infested with bugs

Please specify exactly what your league settings are. Specifically, please list:

League size
League alignment (be sure to include whether it is split into subleagues or not)
Number of games
Whether the schedule is to be balanced or not
Whether the schedule has interleague play or not

Also, please list what settings are enabled under the Schedule section of the Options tab.

You should always have the option of manually importing a schedule file providing there is one which matches the basic league details.

it is the AAA pacific coast league of the major league quickstart

16 teams
alignment is 2 leagues with 2 divisions in each
144 games
i don't know for certain whether or not the schedule is balanced or has interleague play...though both options are unchecked in the options

as for options...season start date is 5 april 2009

only boxes checked are for:
force start on certain weekday
auto adjust date if matching xml schedule found

schedule loaded from file: 2007PCLOOTP.lsdl

it's worth mentioning...the only teams that have not played have been within the organizations I have been in...at least that I have noticed...although not necessarily a team that I have had control of...as I stated...I was promoted and noticed they had played no games in the previous season
