Team Logo Needed

I see all of the great work here and I was wondering if someone could make me a team logo for a league I just joined. My team name is the Balboa Barracudas and my team colors are blue, light blue and green.

Thanks a bunch in advance.

That is a nice logo lloyd but, and this is my fault for not stating it earlier, I was looking more for a round button type logo.

Thanks. It can be done by converting the text to a shape in photoshop, and then manipulating the letters to how you would like them to appear.

Yep, I can do the same in Xtreme, just never thought of it before. Genius!

Converting to a shape? I guess I'm not following what you guys are talking about. Like....rasterizing the type?

What you would do is create your text layer in photoshop. Then go to the layer -> type -> convert to shape. After that you can use the direct selection tool and the path selection tool to make your adjustments as the text is now a shape. This is vector-based, so it is fully transformable with no pixelation. I hope that helps

That's how I did the text in this logo as well:

Don't mean to bump such an old thread, but how exactly do you do this? I can't find a "convert to shape" button under the layer drop-down menu.
