According to a couple ex NFL'ers on the Boston Sports talk radio station all the teams do or have done what the Pats did... I still don't see the big deal, I equate it with stealing signs in baseball, part of the game...

Honestly, I was just kidding, but it does seem weird that a guy that was caught cheating wins Coach of the Year. I'm pretty sure that the videotaping had nothing to do with the team's play, but it still just seems like they are rewarding someone for cheating.

Seems to me they are rewarding a coach that took his team to a 16-0 record....

That's the beauty of it, you can argue all day about cheating or not cheating, but you CANNOT argue with 16-0

True and I don't disagree at all with that. The Patriots are an amazing team and Belichik is an amazing coach. I don't disagree that Belichik should be Coach of the Year, but it just seemed funny to me. Obviously, there is no other Coach in the NFL more deserving for this season.

There were some other deserving coaches, but you really can't argue with giving it to a guy who led his team to 16-0.

I'm about as big a Pats fan that there is. But even with the Pats going 16-0, I wouldn't have been upset at all if Mike McCarthy would have won for the job that he did in Green Bay this year.
