The Around the World Baseball League is proud to announce that it is officially opening its doors to the public! The ATWBL is a players league...sure, you might say that there is already a couple of good ones around, but I will do all within my power to make this the best one around! We already have a active, dedicated group of handlers that have been racking their brains to come up with ideas to make the league as unique as possible.

For those that are unfamiliar with a players league, instead of being a GM, you get to control up to [3] players. You supply me with all of their basic information such as name, height, weight, position, etc., and I randomly generate them in OOTP. You can even pick their age, as long as the player is in between 16 and 24 years old.

The league will start off with 8 teams, but I have hopes of expanding in the foreseeable future.

The league will be using 1-100 ratings, with no DH in either conference. There will be no agents in the league, although there are several other league positions that can be held. We have a custom-made website that will be updated after every sim with breaking news, injuries, and transactions. Once a week, I will post a article on the front page...the writer of the article will receive a bonus for having his or her work displayed on the main page. Our league forum has also been customized to suit the needs of the league.

Bump...

I have added another twist to the league...if the player I create for you is not what you were hoping for, you will be allowed to reallocate 20 of your talent points once in your career. For example, you could take 10 points from contact and 10 points from gap and apply all 20 to power.

Look forward to seeing some more familiar faces in the league and I hope you guys have more unique ideas!

baseball_chick Minors (Single A) Join Date: Apr 2005 Posts: 65	Join up, people! __________________ http://www.usplayersalliance.com/ - Awesome new OOTP 9 player's league - join and create two players, and have full control of them (kind of like ITP or Road to the Show), you can also apply to be a GM. Hell, do both, even!
