OOTP5 Hitting Streak?

What's the longest Hitting Streak anyone has seen in OOTP5 preferably using real rosters and Modern Era Baseball.

I'm just curious because the highest I've seen was 28. Thought it was a little low.

Compared to 56 it is. A 28 game hitting streak seems low, I know, but that's getting a hit every day for a straight month - just about. Personally I've seen 32 (Ichiro), but I haven't been playing terribly long either.

dumrox, yesterday said he had 2 guys do 38 over a period of 50 years.

I play every game, so I'm only in my first season. Todd Walker, of all people, had a 20 game hitting streak. But I haven't seen anything beyond that.

I had 2 guys in my fictional league hit back to back 40 game hitting streaks...

One guy did it then another one did it also... that's in about 20 years and haven't seen anything even close to those yet

I dont know about OOTP5, havent really checked on any hitting streak yet, but in OOTP4, Hank Blalock (in about 2007) had a 64 game hitting streak, it was all simming too, I didnt play the game, I was pretty amazed when I seen his numbers climb on the leadboard.

I had Luis Castillo hit in 41 straight games and stole 31 bases in that time

It was all sim... but the real key was Eric Chavez's RBI's at the end of that streak!!!!

I'm still running v4 (STB2K3), and my FABL's leading hit streaker is Cubs 2B Ross Barnes, who hit in 37 games in a row in 1882.
