Help a new modder

Hey, Im new to the mod scene and Im looking for an experienced modder to help me out a bit. I downloaded and installed Cubbyfan's 2008 roster, for which I am extremely grateful for all his hard work. However I do have some gripes, the most prominent of which is that a lot of guys who shuldn't be Rule V eligible, are. I've dumped the files to CSV, but I'm not certain which section of the players file I need to edit to change their eligibility status.

Lots of guys show that they've been professional for 0 years but are eligible. Obviously thats not right. Is there a certain column I can edit to fix that, or would I have to adjust a time as professional area? I could certainly use some guidance here.

If you're feeling particularly generous, you'll teach me how to import my newly editted files into the game so that the work I do actually shows up. Thanks again!

Ok, I found where I can edit that specific value. What I now need to know is how to take the csv's, and import them or if necessary, make them into .dat files. Help?

i've written a program to reimport files, but i'm on a customer visit at the moment so i'll give details when i get back in a few hours
