Game crashing with Ankit historical roster

I downloaded Ankit's version of Lahman 5.0 and have started a 1901 league in manager mode. I can hit the sim button for all other games, but I can not manage or sim my own team. I can play games (sim or manage) in other leagues, but not in the Ankit file league with manager mode. I don't think it has anything to do with my system settings. I have sound disabled, no problems found with Directx 9.0, and I can play games in other leagues. I can manage games in manager mode with fictional leagues so I'm wondering if this may have something to do with Ankit's version of Lahman 5.0. Anyone know how this can be fixed? I didn't have any problems downloading Ankit and it's definately not system related.

I have not seen such an issue, have you tried a reinstall or re-import of the league(if it is newly created)?

Working on that now. I can play an exhibition game so without manager mode. I will have to try manager mode next.
