I have minor league simulation enabled and I've noticed that all of my minor league teams have stopped playing after 138 games. Is this the length of a minor league season in real life or is it some odd bug? Thanks for the replies.

I believe the minor leaguers would stop simming on September 1, in line with the time that the majors traditionally have the Sept. callups.

Also, I think the game only simulates the minor league stats once a week unless that's changed. Is it possible that that's what has happened here?

schedule
Minor leagues play a shorter season than the bigs, fewer games.

Like I said, the Sept 1 callups. The minor leagues are scheduled to end before the September callups. Hence fewer games.
