So is the UTBA actually dead and buried? ItR has not been the same place without it. Almost three months now since Sal has been on the site. Has he made any contact with the beta testing team recently? I hope he is okay. It's be terrible if something has happened to him or his family.

I sent a email to SAL a few weeks ago but I never got a replay. Of course, it should be noted that sometimes I accidentally set things as spam instead of deleting them so it's possible that his reply ended up in my bulk folder so I never saw it.

Maybe his is just caught up in the Jayhawks being undefeated and whipping up on St. Mary's school for the blind every week.

Hey everyone,

I've had a few issues with my internet provider the past 2 1/2 months (now resolved) and this is the first time in 3 months I've sat down in front of a computer.

I'm sending out a notice by PM to all UTBA owners to check their status and to see if everyone is ready for the UTBA league to fire up and operate in full force once again.

Sorry for my absence without any notice but I'm glad to be back.

Announcement.......................

Sal has announced tonight that he will sell all ownership rights of the McCune Mitt Slingers team to gocubsgo. gocubsgo will take full control of the team immediately starting in week two of the current season. Since this is an existing team, gocubsgo will not be subject to the expansion team rules. He will have full team rights just as if he was here from day one.

Damn, sad to see you leave active competition SAL but at least we'll always have memories like this and this one. It's an understandable move as I'm sure running a team and the league at the same time was alot of work.

Welcome to the league, Roy. Best of luck to you, you'll need it to fix the mess of a team the former owner left you.

One final thing it's nice to see the UTBA threads back to their rightfully placed stickied to the top of the ITR. It just didn't feel right without them there before.

Welcome aboard, Roy. I'm sure the UTBA will give you just as much excitement/frustration/joy/sadness etc. as it's given the rest of us during the last couple of years.

I'm going to have to look back at what was happening in the thread before Scot's absence just to refresh myself with it, I think.
