Moving $$ around?
I'm in my off-season and I noticed that I have about $55 million available for contract extensions, but only $6 million to sign free agents (in Sept. it said I had in the high 20's so I don't know how it dipped down that low). My question is this..is there a way to transfer some of the money from the extension pool to the free agent one? I don't need that much to lock up my FA's right now and at the same time want to improve my team while doing it legit.
Thanks! |

extensions is an estimate (basicly) for next seasons budget. the only way to free up more cash for this season would be to trade high dollar players for low ones

You could trade for some cash, you could release some players, you could waive some players, and you could trade some players like jazzrack says. There might even be other ways. zekester has the right idea: look at the formulas and then figure ways in which you can increase the result. |
