gambos pics are great but one thing i dislike is they are aimed at historical game players, so alot of the players are in the unis of their very first MLB team, while I would prefer to play with all players in their 2007 unis and latest headshots but no one seems to have released a pack of this yet.

I have no C: drive. So I just put them in the applications: OOTP Baseball 2007: data: photos folder. But the game still isn't using the photos. How do I fix this. I see no OOTP folder in my documents folder.
Thanks. |

Gambo facepacks
Which one is the best to download?
What is the difference between them? The four small packs and the 3 large packs. |

Download all of them. The 1st four are the set. The last three are updates for them (Better Pics, more players etc.)

All those with Photo Problems
Pics do not go in data/photo folder.... unless they are there before you generate the game. If you add pics after it needs to go into the
Don't know directory on mac Directory on PC is in Sports interactive folder inside My documents folder data/saved_games/(whatever your league name is.lg)/news/html/images folder Last edited by t_wil1; 04-26-2007 at 05:01 PM. |

are you able to organize player photos into sub-folders under data/photos ?
Forexample by year? Reason I am trying to do this is players age, and I would like to see updated photos as my historical sim progresses... also sub-folders seems almost a necessity since players have the same first and last name. I am having trouble getting OOTP 2007 to assign any player photos to my league. All my pics are named with the right format of first_last.jpg. I even tried placing photos directly into the data\photos folder with no luck. are my league settings incorrect? |

Pic dop not go into the Photo folders unless you put them there before you start your league.
Pics go into Saved_games/(whatever your league name is.lg)/news/html/image folder. Pics are done by year. they can be dowlanded. They Are listed in my signature. Only thing you have to be aware of is common names and mispellings. |

No, Lose the 1984. then you are set.
Remember Duplicate names and misspelling (either on the database or the pics need to be accounted for. |

Help with pics in html?
I am enjoying this pics tremendously, but I'm having trouble seeing them on the player pages in the html output. I have ftp'ed the .jpgs to my website under images, and they are properly linked, but they won't display. What gives?

Firstly, I'd like to thank you for making these photopacks available... But since I'm new to the OOTP series and am no wiz with my PC I'm having trouble getting them to work... I believe I installed them properly: Start Menu My Documents Opened the OOTP 09 Game file Data Saved Games SFGiants.lg (I started a 1960 historical league) News HTML Images Folder I extracted the winzip files to my desktop and then dragged and dropped them year by year into the images folder I then went to the Game Setup menu and hen to the Player and Pictures tab where I hit the Force Update bar... The 4 decades of photos I loaded in took about an hour to be loaded into the game, but when after it was finished I went back into my roster and the same computer generated pics were there... What did I do wrong? When I retrace those steps, I can see all the folders for each of the years of the photopacks (as well as all the created animated photos) and logos) I dragged and dropped into there but they don't open unless I click on them and then it's in a new window... How do I get the animated ones replaced by the photo versions? Thanks again for sharing these files and information! Last edited by KingV2k3; 06-22-2008 at 06:18 PM. Reason: more info |

I believe the force update is to create fictional photos.
You want to delete the fictional photos... which will be player_001... etc. If my memory serves me correctly. Putting them in the folder alone will put the pics in player profile..... unless you have fictional photos created Last edited by t_wil1; 06-23-2008 at 12:39 AM. |

Thanks! I considered deleting the fictional photos, but there's litterally thousands of them and I don't know how to do it w/o having to delete each one individually... Is there any other method? In the meantime I was able to get them in the photos folder in the main menu, so I just may start a new game... |
