Pretty much. He put himself over his team and acted like a whiny bitch, hence he stopped trying to bring his best effort to his job.

Of course he did. That's what he is and what he does. The original statement is that he only shows up for contract years which is absurd.

There's a great blog by Joe Posnanski about MannyBeingManny that would apply to Moss as well, I'd say.

Randy Moss simply changes the entire way a defense tries to play teams. He was amazing in Minnesota, he is amazing now. As a long time Viking fan it was never Moss that earned his way out of Minnesota it was the new idiot of an owner that pushed him out. Same guy that hired this fool Childress. I would agree that Moss is a front runner but now you can see how well he can stir a drink that has all the ingredients. After this year he will have played on the two best offenses in NFL history(98 Vikings-07 Patriots) and will have likely been the leading td scorer on both teams. Randy Moss has had a lot of problems but DOES NOT have a history of alienating his teammates like TO, his Viking teammates were all with him and seldom said a bad word about him. Oakland is a lost ship and as much as Moss hated being there were likely 40 others hating being there just as much.

Moss is a pretty nice guy too. To try to make things a little more fair he is now just using one hand to catch balls.
