Dead space around logos and player pics?

Before I even ask, let me say that the logo's and facepacks are outstanding and for a game that's not graphical, it definately adds something missing. Everyone's efforts are commended for what thats worth.

However, I was curious as to how come there's dead space and then white lines around both to player pics and the logos on the player pages. I'm not sure I'm describing this very well, but unless I installed incorrectly I have a feeling someone will pretty easily know know what I'm talking about.

Just curious why this is, and if there's anything I can do about it?

By the way, sorry if this has been discussed in triplicate as I'm sure it has, but I did a search using a gamut of words I thought might apply and didn't have much luck.

i personally like the lines, they make the pictures look even more artistic.

I wonder if so pics are that way because people have scanned and/or screen captured them and spent time cropping them in a graphics program?

I'm confused by this. Not sure exactly what you're getting at.

I realize these are all cropped photo's and they look great. I was just wondering why they weren't sized to fit the windows provided.

The team logo's look fine on the team page where they primarily are. But they're shrunk in the player pages where you see the persons pic and then have the logo in the lower right hand corner.

Not a big deal either way, just curious as the two roster pic sets and all the logos seem consistent with this "issue" so there must be some reason for it (either my settings or purposely designed this way).

the issue isn't with the facepack - it's a design decision in the game. the space and the white border around the player picture is part of the game, and has nothing to do with the facepacks. even if the photo used was larger, the game would size them down to the same 90 x 135 pixel size.

Thanks, that's what I figured. Just making sure there wasn't some setting I needed to tweak myself!

Just to reiterate I didn't mean to be critical or assume something was "wrong" with the facepack...I love the sets, they're very well done.
